Maintenance Planner

About the job

As a maintenance planner, you are responsible for planning and monitoring preventive or extraordinary maintenance work on production facilities. Is this the challenge you are looking for? What you achieve

• Planning of preventive or extraordinary maintenance measures in cooperation with the production departments and various maintenance departments
• Planning and coordination of the required external resources
• Coordination of deployments, management of resources and monitoring of plant maintenance. Ensuring the availability of spare parts
• Reduction of major plant downtimes by optimising preventive maintenance
• Participation in the implementation and improvement of preventive maintenance plans in cooperation with maintenance managers and responsible technicians
• Collaboration with production to integrate preventive and specific maintenance into the planning of their activities
• Support of those responsible by creating performance indicators, participating in the creation of procedures and technical standards as well as managing documentation
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing the performance and availability of production facilities
• Support in managing calls to our hotline to coordinate the needs for internal/external resources in the event of unplanned downtimes

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Field: EFZ as polymechanic, automation technician, electrician, mechanic or equivalent training. Professional certificate as maintenance specialist is an advantage
• Professional experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of industrial maintenance
• Proficiency in SAP PM and Microsoft Office
• Approach, organisational talent and sense of responsibility. Flexibility, accuracy and independence
• Good stress management, ability to handle several tasks simultaneously. Good communication and negotiation skills as well as willingness to compromise
• German (B2)
• French (A2)
