Operational Buyer 100% (m/f)
Responsibilities
- Operational purchasing using MRP system for efficient order processing and handling of complaints
- Analysis and optimization of procurement conditions, including prices, delivery times, lot sizes, safety stocks, and packaging in coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Coordination of import and export formalities as well as organization of transport in consultation with suppliers if necessary
- Supplier management, including maintaining existing partnerships to ensure agreed services and evaluating potential new suppliers
- Price and supplier comparisons, obtaining offers, and ensuring optimal procurement conditions
- Support and representation in other procurement areas as needed
- Ensuring compliance with the "Swisspearl Code of Conduct" by obtaining and reviewing relevant supplier information
- Creation and review of delivery agreements and contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and purchasing management
- Participation in strategic tasks to support purchasing management
- Handling Swisspearl trading activities within the Swisspearl Group
- Supervision of commercial trainees as part of the practical trainer function (training not necessarily required)
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or comparable qualification in the field of purchasing or logistics
- First experiences in operational or tactical purchasing
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience in coordinating procurement activities and dealing with suppliers
- Analytical skills as well as the ability to understand and implement complex issues
- Fluent in German and English
- High team ability and pronounced negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge in business administration as well as a structured and goal-oriented work behavior
- Assertiveness and organizational talent
- High resilience
- Confident appearance in dealing with internal and external partners
