Prevention against Violence, Exploitation and Sexual Assault
The protection of the children and young people entrusted to us is important to us.
For many years, our church community has been committed to the prevention of sexual assault. Between 2011 and 2017, over 300 people working with children and young people in Stäfa were trained across sectors and religions through the Interconference for Children and Youth Issues (then via Mira). This has led to a more open climate in dealing with the topic, increased awareness, and promoted an attitude of "looking out". We thank all our employees and volunteers who advocate for this mindful approach and were/are willing to further educate themselves here.

Since the association Mira (Prevention of Sexual Assault in Leisure Activities), which had accompanied us since 2011, was dissolved in 2016, we have looked around and are in contact with its successor, Limita – Specialist Office for the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation. Limita has been doing prevention work for various professions for over 20 years and has now adapted this work for the voluntary sector as well.
