About the job
For our client, we are seeking a creative and technically skilled individual as a Design Technician / Plastic Designer. In this versatile development role, you will create customised solutions from films and accompany them from the idea stage through to implementation in production. yellowshark AG is your competent contact and will personally guide you through the entire application process.
- Creation of prototypes and technical drawings
- Design, evaluation and procurement of tools as well as production aids in the field of plastic components
- Determination of material and manufacturing costs as a basis for quotation preparation
- Conducting and analysing material tests to ensure the required product properties
- Participation in the optimisation of machines, systems and tools
- Support of development projects during the production and introduction phase
- Further training in the field of plastic technology, mechanical engineering or process technician HF
- Experience in an industrial production or development environment
- Understanding of conceptual project management
- Good CAD user skills
- Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written
- Flexible working hours

- Completed mechanical basic training as a plastic technologist EFZ, designer EFZ, polymechanic EFZ, production mechanic EFZ or in a comparable field- Further training in the field of plastic technology, mechanical engineering or process technician HF
- Experience in an industrial production or development environment

- Good CAD user skills
- Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written
