About the job
You are passionate about Product Management, want to take on responsibility and actively shape not only products but also the way Product Management is lived?
As Lead Product Management, you take on the professional responsibility for our Product Management in the Abacus area. You receive the creative freedom to jointly develop our Product Management and the AXsolutions portfolio with your team in a targeted manner. In doing so, you recognise market opportunities and customer needs, bring in new ideas and ensure that concrete solutions arise from them.
In your role, you work closely with Abacus, our partners and various departments within Axept. At the same time, you stay close to operational business and drive selected topics forward yourself.
This makes your everyday work exciting:
- Market in view: You recognise customer needs, market opportunities and new software solutions and derive ideas and concrete measures for our product portfolio from them
- Shaping Product Management: You shape the further development of our Product Management and create the structures and working methods with which we will develop our product portfolio even more purposefully in the future
- Driving the portfolio: You develop our AXsolutions portfolio together with the Product Management team and ensure alignment with our corporate goals
- Developing partnerships: You further develop strategic relationships with partners and software manufacturers, review new products and partnerships and participate in strategic discussions and negotiations at management level
- Networking Axept: You recognise synergies within Axept and actively promote exchange and collaboration across our business units
- Professional leadership: You take on operational responsibility in Product Management and independently drive measures, products and partnerships forward
- Networking: You represent the Product Management area at internal and external events
What you bring with you:
- You have several years of experience in Product Management or a comparable role in the software or IT environment. Experience in the Abacus environment is a big plus but not a requirement
- You think entrepreneurially and strategically but do not lose sight of operational implementation
- You have a good sense of market and customer needs and can classify and prioritise different requirements sensibly
- You are strong in communication and confident in exchanges with employees, management, customers, software manufacturers and partners
- You work in a structured and independent manner and keep an overview even with different topics and stakeholders
- Your colleagues look forward to support from an uncomplicated person who likes to take responsibility, drive things forward and also enjoys a laugh
And this is what you get in return:
- We are a bit embarrassed to praise ourselves for probably the best team spirit far and wide. So we simply quote a five-star feedback from Kununu here: "Team spirit is highly valued." True!
- From zero to one hundred in 15… no, not seconds, years. We are fast but have grown healthily and are well organised. Yet something is still like in our beginnings: The structures are lean and you easily find the right contacts.
- In our area, we are among the larger players and are known for our high quality. No wonder, we are repeatedly recognised as an outstanding implementation partner.
- A good salary that you can help determine with your performance. Daily sickness allowance and accident insurance? We cover that. Together with other benefits, that quickly adds up to a few thousand a year.
We have much more to tell. What else makes your job with us exciting, for example. Who we are and how we tick. So do not hesitate and form your own impression.
Already fired up? Would you rather start today than tomorrow? Then send us your CV or the link to your LinkedIn profile. You can save the cover letter; we are very uncomplicated in that regard too.
And the (a) in the job title? It is our statement for diversity. We love mixed teams. Age, origin, skin colour or gender do not matter to us. With us, (a)ll are welcome who advance us with their talent.
