Are you passionate about Product Management, eager to take on responsibility and actively shape not only products but also the way Product Management is practiced?

As Lead Product Management, you take on the professional responsibility for our Product Management in the Abacus area. You will have the freedom to shape and further develop our Product Management and the AXsolutions portfolio together with your team. In doing so, you identify market opportunities and customer needs, bring in new ideas, and ensure that these turn into concrete solutions.

In your role, you work closely with Abacus, our partners, and various departments within Axept. At the same time, you stay close to operational business and drive selected topics forward yourself.

What makes your daily work exciting:

• Market focus: You recognise customer needs, market opportunities, and new software solutions and derive ideas and concrete measures for our product portfolio from them
• Shaping Product Management: You influence the further development of our Product Management and create the structures and working methods with which we will develop our product portfolio even more purposefully in the future
• Driving the portfolio: You develop our AXsolutions portfolio together with the Product Management team and ensure alignment with our corporate goals
• Developing partnerships: You further develop strategic relationships with partners and software manufacturers, review new products and partnerships, and participate in strategic discussions and negotiations at management level
• Networking Axept: You identify synergies within Axept and actively promote exchange and collaboration across our business units
• Professional leadership: You take operational responsibility in Product Management and independently drive measures, products, and partnerships forward
• Networking: You represent the Product Management area at internal and external events

What you bring with you:

• You have several years of experience in Product Management or a comparable role in the software or IT environment. Experience in the Abacus environment is a greatplus, but not a requirement
• You think entrepreneurially and strategically, but do not lose sight of operational implementation
• You have a good sense of market and customer needs and can classify and prioritise different requirements sensibly
• You are strong in communication and confident in interacting with employees, management, customers, software manufacturers, and partners
• You work in a structured and independent manner and keep an overview even with different topics and stakeholders
• Your colleagues look forward to support from an uncomplicated person who likes to take responsibility, drive things forward, and also enjoys a laugh now and then
