Job Description
What to expect
- As a project-leading architect, you will take charge of the planning team or the architecture team in the planning of data centres.
- Your main tasks include leading planning activities within the integral team, focusing on the realisation of data centres (SIA 31-53), supported by Building Information Modelling (BIM).
- The planning processing of current and future (large) projects for data centres is your central area of activity – with a focus on trade coordination, technical elaboration, detailed development, and feasibility.
- You will work closely with our internal specialist departments (structural engineering, HVAC, electrical engineering, construction management) as well as external specialist planners in a BIM-based coordination process (Revit / ACC).
- You support the implementation of the ATP Green Deal, taking into account sustainable and resource-conserving planning.
Qualifications
What you bring
- You have successfully completed studies in architecture (ETH/FH or equivalent).
- Your career shows several years of professional experience in planning medium to large projects, ideally with a clear focus on data centre planning.
- You possess sound technical and constructive knowledge as well as very good knowledge of the relevant Swiss standards and regulations (especially SIA 102).
- You have proven experience in projects of the SIA phases 31-53.
- You have good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit and are interested in digital tools and BIM.
- You communicate confidently in German, both spoken and written (at least C1 level), and have good English skills (at least B2 level).
- You are enthusiastic about integral planning and are able to coordinate and handle areas of responsibility independently and interdisciplinarily.
- You are characterised by high competence in all planning phases of demanding building projects as well as by your curiosity about topics such as resource efficiency and sustainability.
- You have a pronounced awareness of deadlines, costs, and quality in terms of SIA project management.
- Your confident appearance, creative and independent working style, team spirit, and analytical thinking distinguish you.
