• Analysis and optimization of systems and vehicles regarding reliability, availability, maintenance intervals, and maintenance activities
• Improvement of life cycle costs (LCC) through targeted measures to increase efficiency and reduce costs over the entire service life
• Definition and specification of maintenance-friendly system designs, including minimum maintenance intervals and maximum allowable maintenance effort
• Setting requirements for reliability, failure rates, and maintainability of systems
• Support of procurement and project management in negotiating technical requirements with suppliers
• Creation of maintenance plans based on supplier specifications as well as own technical analyses
• Optimization of systems with regard to CBM (Condition-Based Monitoring) and Predictive Maintenance, for early detection and prevention of failures

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, vehicle technology, traffic engineering, aviation, or comparable professional experience
• Enjoyment in analyzing technical data and motivation to further develop innovative approaches such as Condition-Based Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance
• Experience with RAM/LCC topics as well as methods like FMEA or FTA is an advantage
• Teamwork skills and enjoyment of collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are a plus
