The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and leads to the Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC).
Theoretical training:
Courses are held at the Professional School for Crafts and Community Services (EPASC) in Martigny, one day per week.
Practical training:
The practical training in the company takes place at CIMO, under the responsibility of a trainer.
The inter-company courses (CIE) take place at the Isolsuisse training center in Münchenbuchsee (BE).
As part of your apprenticeship, you will be required to take measurements and read plans to enable the installation of insulation on pipes and various equipment.
To protect this insulation, you will prepare the layout, cutting, and shaping of aluminum or stainless steel sheet metal parts to be placed on the insulation.
Your work plays an important role for the environment and allows energy savings.
