What you will do here
- Teach students from all classical study programmes (PreCollege, Bachelor, Master in Pedagogy, Master in Performance and Master in Specialized Music Performance) in the subject of saxophone
- Contribute your artistic expertise in numerous modules; for example in chamber music, interpretation of contemporary music, performative-transdisciplinary formats and project groups
- As part of a modern art university, support the next generation and actively engage in research fields and music mediation contexts
- Build and further develop your class on site through weekly face-to-face lessons, class auditions, commission and examination work
What you ideally bring with you
- Completed university studies, high artistic qualification and didactic experience at university level. Knowledge of the current artistic discourse in the subject area
- Artistic/instrumental references as an internationally active ensemble and chamber musician as well as soloist with a wide stylistic range and focus on New Music
- Confident use of the current variety of methods in didactics and handling of digital teaching tools. Interest in subject-related artistic or pedagogical research topics
- Teaching language in German, English and/or French is expected. Team spirit and willingness to contribute to the further development of study content
- Collaboration with contemporary composers and extensive experience with classical and alternative performance formats
