MAIN ACTIVITY OF THE POSITION
Your mission
Within a small development team, you contribute to the evolution of a medical record management software suite used by clinics in Geneva and Lausanne. You are involved in the entire application lifecycle: analysis, design, development, integration and maintenance.
Environment
- Small team composed of 6 developers and 1 Product Owner
- Development mainly in C# and VB.NET, with WPF/MVVM on .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 8.
- Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Azure DevOps, Git, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Microservices-oriented architecture (REST API)
- HL7, HIN, FHIR, EWS, ALIS interfaces ...
- Code review
MAIN TASKS
- Contribute to business requirements analysis, technical design and development of application modules in C#/.NET (WPF/MVVM)
- Design, develop and maintain interfaces with medical systems as well as administrative applications
- Perform unit testing, verify compatibility between different elements to be integrated, diagnose and correct malfunctions
- Ensure technical documentation, implementation and maintenance of developed modules
- Maintain and evolve applications in close collaboration with end users, from needs identification to production deployment of improvements.
- Contribute to modernising applications towards .NET 8 and a microservices architecture.
YOUR PROFILE
- Higher education in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in application development in C#/.NET with WPF following the MVVM model
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Experience in analysing user needs and translating them into functional (user interface) and technical specifications
- Communication skills and interdisciplinary collaboration with a user-oriented mindset
- You demonstrate autonomy, analytical skills and appreciate collaborative work in a demanding environment.
- Fluency in French, good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is an asset
- Good knowledge of the medical field is an asset
