As an Operations Manager, you take responsibility for our modern high-tech recycling site in Volketswil (Hard). Together with your team, you ensure that our processes and workflows function efficiently, safely and smoothly. Your versatile daily work looks as follows:
- Leadership and further development of the site together with your team
- Professional and personnel management as well as deployment planning of 25 employees
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of the use of machines and equipment
- Control of material declaration and ensuring quality standards
- Analysis and evaluation of production results including derivation of appropriate measures
- Monitoring of all operational processes as well as planning and implementation of optimisations
- Organisation of recyclable material and waste transports or collections
- Ensuring maintenance of machines, buildings and surroundings
- Active participation in process optimisations and development of new solutions
- Responsibility for compliance with occupational safety, environmental and operational regulations
What we expect from you
- Proven leadership experience in an industrial or technical environment
- Ability to motivate, promote and lead employees in a goal-oriented manner
- Assertiveness combined with organisational skills and high social competence
- Structured, solution-oriented as well as entrepreneurial thinking and working style
- Resilience and calmness even in demanding situations
- Good communication skills and pronounced team spirit
- Good user knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in recycling, production, logistics or disposal is desirable but not essential
