Certified Expert: Anaesthesia Care / Certified Expert: Intensive Care NDS HF/HF

The Central Recovery Room (ZAWR) of the University Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Pain Medicine offers space for 26 patients, who are cared for and monitored around the clock in the pre- and postoperative area. Additionally, various medical interventions are performed. We are committed to research and the training and further education of hospital staff. Furthermore, our clinic runs the largest department for pain medicine in Switzerland.

What to expect

• Care, monitoring and adequate pain therapy of pre- and postoperative patients according to the latest scientific findings
• Support with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Treatment and care of patients ventilated with NIV or invasively, continuous catecholamine therapies as well as therapeutic interventions (e.g. electroconvulsive therapy)
• Handling and provision of all respirators, monitoring devices and materials
• Coordination of the patient process in collaboration with the involved specialists

What you bring

• You have successfully completed training as a Certified Expert in Anaesthesia or Intensive Care NDS HF
• You are characterised by a sense of responsibility, resilience and a humorous manner and bring sound specialist knowledge
• You enjoy working in a team and approach the rapidly changing and demanding operational processes in the university environment flexibly, committed and with a positive attitude
