Job Description
Implement, communicate, and ensure compliance with hospital hygiene measures and infection prevention protocols within the clinic, in collaboration with the clinical management team, infectious disease specialist, hygiene committee, and field representatives.
Develop, review, and update hygiene policies and procedures in accordance with current best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring their harmonisation across all clinical departments.
Regularly conduct audits and monitoring activities to assess compliance with hygiene standards, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary corrective measures.
Provide training to clinical and non-clinical staff on hygiene protocols, infection prevention measures, and good practice standards to foster a culture of compliance.
Investigate hygiene-related incidents and near-misses, manage them, document findings, and recommend preventive measures to minimise future occurrences.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to promote hygiene awareness, share expertise, and facilitate knowledge exchange within the organisation.
Participate in institutional projects and quality improvement initiatives to contribute your specialised expertise and support the achievement of organisational objectives.
Qualifications
- Recognised nursing diploma, preferably Swiss resident
- Diploma in hospital hygiene
- Ability to prioritise in acute situations and good stress management
- Organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Sense of multidisciplinary collaboration
- Availability, flexibility, and versatility
- Willingness to expand your skills in a specialised sector.
