To strengthen our team in the assembly of bus production in the operations area, we are looking for motivated specialists with know-how in vehicle mechanics for the PDI tasks at the end of the manufacturing process of our electric buses.

As a PDI specialist for our innovative electric buses, you play a crucial role in the production chain. Your task is to ensure that every bus leaving our production halls is in perfect condition and meets the highest safety standards. Your tasks

• Carrying out all "Pre-Delivery Inspection" tasks on our electric buses (according to the specifications of the development department)
• Commissioning of tachographs and the RAG
• Testing and commissioning of brakes under WABCO system specifications including creation of test protocols for official authorities
• Measurement and adjustment of the complete steering geometry and the drive motors
• Performing turning circle measurements
• Calibration of bus joints and steering angle sensors
• Planning the tasks to be performed in consultation with the assembly management
• Designing and implementing sensible time management for the execution of PDI appointments
• Driving articulated and double-articulated buses during vehicle relocations and shifts
• Assisting in the optimisation of work processes and workplaces

Our requirements

• Completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician specialising in commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery mechanic or construction machinery mechanic
• Driving licence for heavy commercial vehicles (category C) or willingness to take the driving test (costs covered by the employer)
• Strong can-do mentality
• Independent working style and handling of sensitive equipment
• Flexibility and reliability
