Youth Lawyer 100%The five regional youth prosecution offices investigate and assess crimes committed by young people between the ages of ten and eighteen. They conduct criminal investigations and are responsible for the enforcement of juvenile criminal law protective measures and penalties.
For the Youth Prosecution Office Zurich-City, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an open-minded, flexible, analytically thinking youth lawyer 100%.
Tasks await you
- You conduct and complete criminal investigations against young people, draft dismissal orders as well as non-prosecution orders, and represent the prosecution before the youth court.
- You perform single-judge functions within the framework of criminal proceedings (issuance of penal orders).
- In cooperation with social workers, you clarify the need for measures and enforce juvenile criminal law judgments and decisions including protective measures.
- You are prepared to regularly perform on-call duty (including nights and weekends).

- You have a completed Master of Laws degree and ideally have obtained the lawyer's licence.
- You have many years of experience in criminal justice as well as sound knowledge in the field of juvenile criminal law.
- Your experience in pedagogy and youth welfare (advantageous) and your broad life experience allow you to deal with young people confidently and professionally.
- Your strengths include resilience and decisiveness, assertiveness, and a people-oriented manner.
- Thanks to your strong communication skills, you can clearly express your opinion but also integrate well into an interdisciplinary team.
- You are characterised by flexibility, willingness to learn, resilience, and digital affinity.
