Skilled Worker Road Maintenance
We build and maintain the roads so that they remain intact tomorrow. Maintenance District 5 in Wädenswil, with its 19 employees, is responsible for the operation and maintenance of around 120 km of state roads, approx. 110 km of cycle and footpaths, as well as approx. 225 km of hiking trails. Would you like to lend a hand with us in road maintenance? We are looking for reinforcement for our team.
Your tasks
- You work closely with your team and ensure with your commitment that the public can use safe and attractive traffic routes every day
- You keep our state roads, cycle and footpaths, as well as hiking trails functional, from green maintenance to cleaning, to signage and marking
- You carry out minor structural repairs and general maintenance work
- You work with various vehicles, equipment and modern machines
- You assist in winter service and ensure safe traffic routes even in snow and ice
- You provide on-call service and are deployed outside regular working hours if necessary
Your profile
- Completed training as a specialist in operational maintenance, road builder, bricklayer, landscape gardener, or another construction trade qualification
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and especially during the winter months at shifted working hours and occasionally on weekends
- Driving licence category B, ideally category C/CE (you can obtain the category C/CE driving licence with us if you do not already have it)
- You can reach the Neubüel depot in Wädenswil within 30 minutes
