Success through Sporting Spirit
After 28 years at Wander, the manufacturer of Ovomaltine and other brands, Arnold Furtwaengler will retire early in January 2025. He served as CEO of Wander AG for 14 years. He begins his new chapter in life, as he says, "with great anticipation and lots of energy, albeit with some nostalgia."

Strengthening the Neuenegg Location
Together with his team, he has significantly expanded Wander and its strong brands Ovomaltine, Caotina, Twinings, and Isostar. From Ovomaltine Crisp Muesli to the Ovo Break waffle bar, Ovomaltine is currently successful in numerous categories. Since the inauguration of a modern production facility for spreads nearly 10 years ago, more than just powder products and bars for all of Europe have been produced in Neuenegg. The Ovomaltine spread Crunchy Cream is popular not only in Switzerland and Germany but worldwide. Even in Indonesia, where consumers eat little bread, Ovomaltine Crunchy Cream has become an ingredient for local specialties, such as Martabak.
Who will succeed Arnold Furtwaengler in January 2025 is still open. The process for the succession solution is ongoing. Wander is confident that a successor will be appointed soon.
