About the job

You focus on the individual physical movement abilities of the patients as well as their connection to their own body awareness and contribute significantly to their recovery. Many of our physical, movement, and sports therapy offerings are designed to be integrated into people’s everyday lives and to achieve a health-promoting and preventive effect there.
Movement and body therapies belong to the specialised therapeutic service and form a fixed part of the defined treatment programmes.
An offering we wish to continue is therapeutic climbing, which takes place twice a month.
This is what your professional day with us looks like
- Conducting movement and body therapies, primarily in group and individual settings across various departments and the day clinic
- Group therapies include offerings such as movement therapy, somatic movement therapy, walking, supervised training sessions, and introductions in the fitness room
- Individual goal and topic agreements with patients as well as guidance in open offerings including method selection for the defined offering
- Participation in the further development of the physical and sports therapy offerings
- Various administrative tasks (documentation and performance recording, etc.)
- Regular participation in interdisciplinary exchange forums, e.g. interprofessional exchange, team meetings, and case supervisions
What you bring with you
Mandatory
- Completed basic training in the fields of sports or movement therapies including further training for the context of mental illnesses
- A specific industry certificate, association diploma, or a federal qualification confirming the ability to conduct fitness instructions
- Experience in dealing with people with mental illnesses or in challenging life situations
- PC user skills (Microsoft Office 365, KIS, PEP)
- Team spirit and enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration
Advantageous
- Qualification HFP or Bachelor in the fields of sport, movement, and health
- Completed climbing safety course
- Completed J+S leadership course in sport climbing
- Completed training in "therapeutic climbing"
