Bülach – a city with tradition since 1384. Today, it is the prosperous and growing centre of the Zurich lowlands with over 24,500 inhabitants. Bülach fosters an administrative culture in which customer orientation and appreciation of employees are central.
The Department of Politics and Presidential Affairs is responsible, among other things, for organising elections and votes as well as for the preparation and follow-up of city council matters. In addition, various specialist offices such as culture or data protection belong to the department. With its diverse tasks, it contributes to an efficient organisation of the city administration. To complement our team, we are looking for a committed specialist immediately or by arrangement as
Your tasks
- Scheduling of elections and votes
- Definition and implementation of the preliminary election procedures
- Coordination of the election office with administrative staff and other election helpers
- Follow-up and publication of results in cooperation with communications
- Mutual support within the Department of Politics and Presidential Affairs as well as mutual holiday cover
- Participation in projects and taking on additional tasks as required
Your profile
- Commercial training (EFZ) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in an administrative role with high responsibility, ideally experience in public administration
- Very good organisational skills as well as a structured and precise way of working
- High service orientation and enjoyment in contact with different stakeholders
- Good IT user skills
- Confident written expression in German
- Independent, responsible and team-oriented personality
- Willingness to work weekends during election and voting periods, usually four times a year
