You perform post duties, intervene as the first responder at the scene, initiate the necessary measures, and are responsible for handling criminal, traffic, and security police tasks.

Tasks

• Ensuring basic police services
• Taking on search and prevention tasks
• Application and implementation of legal coercive measures
• Recording criminal offences and conducting investigations
• Networking with partner organisations (network maintenance)
• Promoting community engagement in the spirit of community policing
• Performing weekend, night, deployment, and on-call duties
• Planning, coordinating, and leading police operations

Profile

• Swiss citizenship and completed training as a police officer (federal diploma/certificate)
• Several years of professional experience as a police officer and solid, broad-based expertise in basic police services, preferably complemented by experience in investigations
• Committed personality, willingness to work well in a team and to continuously develop professional and personal skills
• Independent working style, reliability, resilience, and flexibility
