As a lawyer in the customer legal service of CAP Legal Protection Basel, you have the opportunity to independently manage a variety of mandates in diverse areas of law within a motivated team. Become part of our team in Basel! We are looking for reinforcement from January 2027 or by arrangement for a fixed-term assignment of 8 months until the end of August 2027 and look forward to your application.

What you can achieve

• Independent handling of legal cases of our insured persons in all insured areas of law, primarily in labour and insurance law, liability law, tenancy law, general contract law, property law, neighbour law and road traffic law
• Conducting negotiations with opposing parties, authorities, insured persons and lawyers
• Telephone and personal advice to insured persons in the above-mentioned as well as other areas of law
• Supervising and monitoring mandates handled by external lawyers within the scope of granted cost approvals
• Insurance-technical tasks (checking insurance coverage, payments, etc.)

What you bring with you

• University degree in law (lic.iur./MLaw) with lawyer’s licence or, instead of a lawyer’s licence, several years of relevant professional experience
• Excellent expertise and initial professional experience as a lawyer, court clerk or insurance lawyer are advantageous
• Negotiation skills, resilience as well as solution- and customer-oriented
• Fluent German; knowledge of French and/or Italian is an advantage
• The ability to use tools with artificial intelligence (e.g., Co-Pilot etc.)
