About the job
- You treat and accompany patients in the outpatient setting as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- After a thorough introduction, you conduct psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments and treatments under senior physician supervision.
- You take on individual therapy planning and ensure careful documentation as well as professional reporting.
- You write medical reports and expert opinions and contribute your professional expertise purposefully.
- You actively participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and, if interested, contribute to specific group offerings.
- You work closely and solution-oriented with referring agencies, relatives, and authorities.
- You contribute your expertise and ideas and actively help shape the further development of Psychiatry St.Gallen.
- You have a completed degree in human medicine (CH, EU or EFTA state) and already have MEBEKO recognition for a foreign degree.
- You have already gained professional experience in inpatient psychiatry.
- Ideally, you are already in specialist training and have started psychotherapeutic training.
- You enjoy working with people with mental illnesses and appreciate collaboration in a multiprofessional team.
- You approach patients and colleagues with openness, appreciation, and strong communication skills.
- You are characterised by flexibility, resilience, and a high level of commitment.
- You bring creativity and have very good German skills at least at C1 level.
