About the job

• You treat and accompany patients in the outpatient setting as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• After a thorough introduction, you conduct psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments and treatments under senior physician supervision.
• You take on individual therapy planning and ensure careful documentation as well as professional reporting.
• You write medical reports and expert opinions and contribute your professional expertise purposefully.
• You actively participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and, if interested, contribute to specific group offerings.
• You work closely and solution-oriented with referring agencies, relatives, and authorities.
• You contribute your expertise and ideas and actively help shape the further development of Psychiatry St.Gallen.

• You have a completed degree in human medicine (CH, EU or EFTA state) and already have MEBEKO recognition for a foreign degree.
• You have already gained professional experience in inpatient psychiatry.
• Ideally, you are already in specialist training and have started psychotherapeutic training.
• You enjoy working with people with mental illnesses and appreciate collaboration in a multiprofessional team.
• You approach patients and colleagues with openness, appreciation, and strong communication skills.
• You are characterised by flexibility, resilience, and a high level of commitment.
• You bring creativity and have very good German skills at least at C1 level.
