The two museums offer a rich exhibition and event program in the heart of the Kartause Ittingen. Historical rooms, an attractive art collection, and a magnificent garden invite a wide audience to visit with diverse attractions seven days a week.

The cultural mediator designs, develops, and realizes activities that connect the two museums, their objects, and their cultural potential with the young museum audience. The main focus is on workshops for children and school classes of all levels. This is a one-year, fixed-term position with the option to extend for a maximum of one additional year.

To complement our team, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement for the Thurgau Art Museum and the Ittinger Museum in the Kartause Ittingen

Designing and implementing educational offerings for schools, children, and families (workshops, holiday programs, etc.) at the Thurgau Art Museum and Ittinger Museum

A qualification in the field of cultural mediation, as well as good knowledge of art history. You have professional experience in mediation activities, ideally in a museum. You are committed, proactive, flexible, sociable, and enjoy working with children and young people.
