The Public Prosecutor's Office is responsible for criminal prosecution. Under the leadership of the Chief Public Prosecutor, it comprises three departments: the General Department, the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, and the Traffic Department. The General Department handles all criminal cases that do not fall under the Traffic Department or the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.
The described position is to be filled as of 1 January 2027 or by agreement.

What to expect- Focus on property and special offences
- Responsibility for the independent management of assigned cases until final resolution
- Issuance of indictments, penal orders, and dismissal decisions
- Personal representation of the prosecution before the Cantonal and Higher Courts
- On-call duty service
What you bring
- Completed law degree
- Experience in criminal prosecution (at least 1 year internship/assistantship at a public prosecutor's office)
- Preferably a CAS and/or MAS in Forensics
- Conscientious and efficient working style, communication skills, resilience, and assertiveness
- Excellent German language skills, fluency in written and oral expression
- Flexibility and high resilience
- Swiss citizenship is required for this position
