About the Role
As a CapEx Finance Business Partner, you are the central contact person for all capital and project-related financial matters at our locations in Bern and Marburg. You ensure that investments are optimally planned, solidly financed, and implemented in line with our corporate goals. In doing so, you combine financial expertise with a strategic perspective to deliver timely relevant insights for well-founded business decisions.
This position reports directly to the Associate Director Finance BP, Network Strategy & Capital.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you take on the following responsibilities, among others:
- Development and support of project business plans to achieve performance targets (KPIs).
- Review of monthly financial statements for the investment cash flow and recommendation of appropriate measures.
- Preparation of financial analyses and business cases to support project approvals.
- Creation and commentary of financial reports (e.g., month-end, forecast, budget).
- Close collaboration with the FP&A team on analyses and reports for well-founded decision-making.
- Cooperation with local Finance Business Partners in Bern and Marburg on analyses and presentations.
- Participation in global projects and initiatives.
- Ensuring timely capitalization of projects as well as planning of depreciation within the planning cycles.
Your Profile
We are looking for a personality with the following background:
- Completed studies in finance, accounting, or a comparable field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
- Experience in controlling/accounting in a production environment (advantageous).
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry (advantageous).
- International experience and confidence in dealing with different stakeholder levels.
- Strong communication skills as well as presentation and social competence.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking ability.
- Proactive, results-oriented working style with clear prioritization.
- Flexibility and organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to build sustainable business relationships and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Affinity for digital tools and technologies.
- Experience with SAP S4/BPC and MS Office (advantageous).
- Very good English and German skills, both written and spoken.
