The Socioculture Illnau-Effretikon operates the Jugi (Youth and Community House) Effretikon and the Funky in Illnau as leisure meeting points with needs-oriented offers. In addition, we carry out participatory, social space-oriented projects with the population and run a counselling and information studio for young people. As a second pillar, we participate in municipal projects to enhance public spaces. As the Socioculture department, we value professionalism, continuous development, and networking. From 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed and integral personality as
- Managing youth and leisure meeting points with needs-oriented offers
- Operating the youth counselling and information office "Studio 8307"
- Accompanying and animating young people and groups of young people during the youth house opening hours as well as in mobile projects
- Collaborating in sociocultural projects aimed at all age groups
- Participating in municipal projects to enhance public spaces
- Leading and developing participatory, social space-oriented projects
- Providing low-threshold counselling and triage
- Participating in regular team meetings, intervisions, and supervisions
- Networking with municipal and extra-municipal committees, institutions, specialist offices, and professionals
- Have completed training in sociocultural animation, community animation, or a comparable field
- Bring professional experience in socioculture or several years of work in related fields
- Have a good understanding of working within a triple mandate
- Are interested in professionalising operational work through foundational and conceptual work
- Convince us with sociability, teamwork, creativity, and a high understanding of different life worlds
- Are happy to work evenings and weekends
