Project Manager Building Construction / Client Representation (80 - 100 %)

Tasks

• Project management and client representation for municipally owned building construction and real estate projects, from strategic planning through design and implementation to commissioning
• Management and coordination of planners, specialist planners, contractors, and other project participants
• Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and project organisation
• Support for renovations, conversions, new builds, and other measures in the municipal real estate portfolio
• Further development and implementation of the real estate strategy as well as processes, standards, and tools in the department
• Preparation of decision-making bases for the Head of Infrastructure, the City Council, and other committees
• Advising the Head of Infrastructure and the responsible department head in the City Council

Profile

• Completed training in construction, architecture, real estate, or a comparable qualification
• Further training and/or several years of professional experience in project management, client representation, construction management, or real estate management
• Experience in planning and implementing construction and real estate projects
• Ideally experience in the public sector and understanding of political and administrative decision-making processes
• Strong planning, organisational, and project management skills
• Good communication skills and negotiation ability
• Confident handling of common IT applications
