The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete our team, we are looking for a:
Kitchen Assistant M/F at 80%-100%
The main duties of this position are
- Washing, peeling and cutting fruits and vegetables according to unit directives
- Receiving and storing goods in storage areas in compliance with HACCP standards
- Setting up buffets or plates for staff and patient catering
- Clearing and cleaning dishes in accordance with hygiene rules and equipment
- Participating in the chain and distributing meals to patients and staff
- Participating in the production of hot and cold meals
- Cleaning premises and utensils in compliance with HACCP standards
- Fostering a good working atmosphere within the team by participating in internal meetings
- Maintaining good relations with all team members and other departments in a spirit of "complete service to the client"
- Ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and installations entrusted to them
- Strictly applying the HACCP method and ensuring follow-up with self-checks
We require
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- A school leaving certificate or an equivalent qualification
- HACCP training
- Autonomy and self-confidence
- Listening skills and communication with a "customer service" orientation
- Team spirit
