FeuerschutzTeam AG develops sophisticated safety elements for doors, windows, glazing and wall systems together with specialised partner companies. The focus is on fire protection, often combined with other requirements such as sound, burglary, smoke, flood or radiation protection. The solutions are used, among others, in the Federal Palace, the Kunsthaus Zurich and Zurich main station.

On behalf of FeuerschutzTeam AG, we are looking for a technically skilled and practice-oriented personality. In this newly created position, you will work closely with Managing Director Martin Kopp and accompany products from the first idea through development and testing to approval. You will have a lot of creative freedom and gradually take on an important role within the company.

Your tasks

• Development of new and further development of existing safety and fire protection systems
• Accompanying development projects from the first idea to the tested and approved solution
• Creation and maintenance of CAD plans, plan data and technical documents with AutoCAD
• Handling approvals and certificates as well as preparation and support of external product tests
• Creation and updating of data sheets, presentations, training materials and technical website content
• Technical advice and training of partner and licensed companies

Your profile

• Basic training as a carpenter, joiner or in a comparable field
• Several years of practical experience in door, window or timber construction, with safety elements or in special assembly
• Very good knowledge of AutoCAD as well as confident handling of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• High digital affinity and enjoyment of clean technical documentation
• Independent, reliable and quality-oriented working style as well as the ability to familiarise yourself with standards and test procedures and to assess technical and economic contexts in a networked manner
• Enjoy contributing your own ideas and taking responsibility
• Very good German skills; French skills are a great advantage

Further training as a HF technician in wood technology, master carpenter or project manager as well as knowledge in fire protection are advantageous but not a requirement. Practical experience, personality and enthusiasm for technically demanding solutions are decisive.
