ASSC – Community Health and Care Assistant (M/F/D) – Home Care
Persag SA is looking, for one of its partners in the field of home care, for a motivated ASSC to strengthen a team in the canton of Jura.

Your mission
As part of your duties, you will intervene directly at patients’ homes and contribute to providing them with support adapted to their needs.
Your main responsibilities will notably include:
- Ensuring care and support for patients at home while respecting their habits and autonomy;
- Performing basic care and medico-technical acts within your field of competence, by delegation;
- Assisting patients with daily living activities;
- Observing the patient’s general condition and being attentive to any changes in their situation;
- Reporting relevant observations to the care team;
- Participating in the continuity and quality of care;
- Promoting the maintenance of autonomy and well-being of the people supported;
- Collaborating with nurses, doctors and other care network professionals;
- Ensuring rigorous documentation of care and interventions;
- Respecting hygiene, safety, confidentiality rules and current procedures.
Home care work also requires a certain autonomy in organising interventions, while maintaining good communication with the team.
Your profile
We are looking for a person who:
- Holds a Federal VET Diploma as Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) or an equivalent recognised qualification;
- Is comfortable in contact with patients and their relatives;
- Is kind, respectful and attentive to each person’s needs;
- Is autonomous and able to take initiatives within their competences;
- Is organised and able to manage priorities;
- Has good observational skills and good communication abilities;
- Enjoys teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration;
- Is flexible regarding working hours and different types of interventions;
- Holds a driving licence and has a vehicle, essential for travelling between homes.
Previous experience in home care is an asset, but we are also open to motivated profiles wishing to develop their skills in this field.
