PH Zurich actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Secondary Level I department is responsible for the training of teachers at the secondary level I. It currently offers four master's degree programs as well as subject extensions that impart professional competencies for teaching at the secondary level.
We are looking for reinforcement in the field of nature and technology and look forward to an engaged and motivated personality.
This is what you will do.
- Maintenance, care, and renewal of the scientific collections (physics, chemistry, partly biology)
- Preparation and procurement of teaching materials for lecturers in the field of natural sciences as well as support for lecturers and students during lessons
- Maintenance, repair, and procurement of experimental materials and equipment
- Craft work with various materials (metal, wood, plexiglass, etc.)
- Development of teaching materials in collaboration with lecturers
- Assistance with animal care and maintenance
This is what you bring with you.
- Completed training as a physics laboratory technician EFZ (laboratory technician EFZ, possibly chemical laboratory technician) with initial professional experience or a craft training with experience in the field of natural sciences
- Knowledge of common craft processing methods (handling materials such as metal, wood, plexiglass, etc.)
- Craft skills for minor repairs, equipment maintenance, or the production of exhibits as well as enthusiasm for the further development of teaching materials
- Enjoy working independently in a team
- High personal responsibility combined with a strong service orientation
- Interest in working in the education sector
- Willingness and interest to work in various subject areas (physics, chemistry, partly biology)
