The Centre for Psychosis Spectrum Disorders (ZPSS) consists of the Olvido therapy ward for adolescents (14-17 years) with psychoses in Spiez and the outpatient Early Detection and Therapy Centre (FETZ) for children, adolescents, and young adults (8-40 years) in Bern. As a Senior Psychologist at FETZ, you have the opportunity to be part of the interdisciplinary leadership team to further develop and implement new treatment concepts.

Your Responsibilities

• You will jointly lead the FETZ with a senior physician and support the team in structured diagnostic assessments, case management, and therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults suspected of psychosis or at increased risk of psychosis
• You will take responsibility for the leadership, training, and supervision of assistant psychologists and assistant physicians in diagnostics and therapy, including involvement of the extended system (family, school, education)
• You will conduct diagnostics and therapies yourself in individual, family, and group settings
• You will work closely with the multiprofessional team and participate in networking with other professionals within the clinic and beyond
• You will undertake conceptual work, especially to further develop the psychotherapeutic offerings (e.g., establishment of group therapy options)
• You will support clinical research projects at the ZPSS and have opportunities for your own engagement in teaching, further education, and research

• You have successfully completed a BAG-accredited psychotherapy training
• You want to apply diagnostic and treatment concepts according to current evidence-based guidelines and pass on your knowledge
• You already have experience in treating young people with psychoses or increased psychosis risk or have a strong interest in this area
• You enjoy taking responsibility and contributing to the further development of services for young people with psychoses
• You are interested in working in a research-oriented specialised service and may already have experience in scientific work (a doctorate is an advantage)
