This position reports to:
Production Supervisor - Prototype Construction__
Your Role
In this role, you support the Prototype Construction area in ensuring efficient material supply as well as coordinating prototype construction processes. You work closely with internal interfaces and make a significant contribution to the timely and high-quality production of prototypes.
Work model: on site
This role supports the Electrification area, Smart Buildings, Business Line Energy Distribution, in Schaffhausen.
Your main responsibilities
Planning, coordination and implementation of prototype and sample construction orders in close cooperation with development, engineering, production, quality and SCM
Management of production, work and process documentation as well as bills of materials and manufacturing documents (creating, maintaining and updating)
Material flow control: ensuring timely material availability for prototypes and pre-series, monitoring material shortages and initiating appropriate measures
Process optimisation: planning and organising workflows as well as continuous improvement according to Lean principles
Your qualifications
Completed technical vocational training
3-5 years professional experience in an industrial production or engineering environment, ideally in prototype, sample construction or manufacturing
Technical understanding as well as experience in reading technical drawings and bills of materials
Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP advantageous) as well as MS Office applications
Enjoy working with different departments as well as coordinating various tasks
Communicative personality with high initiative and a hands-on mentality
Fluent German skills; English skills are an advantage
