This is what you can achieve
- Coordination of IP routing architecture (Unicast & Multicast, protocols, parameters, etc.) with Kdo Cy and Elbit taking into account the current and planned capabilities and constraints of ErsaIMFS
- Creation of interface definitions and specifications regarding IP addressing and dynamic routing (IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, BGP, PIM, MSDP, ...)
- Creation of prototypes for tests in virtual and real networks (Linux FRR and Cisco IO-XE/IOS-XR)
- Implementation of routing configurations for integration tests
- Execution/support of integration tests including troubleshooting and error correction
- Definition of requirements/use cases for the management of routing and network components of ErsaIMFS
- Support of software development and consulting the development team on network issues
- Support of the software development team (consulting, review) in the definition, creation, and execution of unit and system tests regarding routing management components
This is what you bring with you
- Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable qualification
- Solid knowledge in system engineering, IT architecture, and hardware/software engineering
- Experience in creating concepts and documentation
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving competence
- Very good knowledge of German, English level B1, impeccable reputation
- Several years of professional experience in a similar field
- Connection to the FRR community via Github & Slack, e.g. reporting found bugs, support in analysis and error correction, ...
