Your tasks

As a Junior Data Scientist in the Risk Consulting team in Zurich, you will actively participate in challenging client projects from the start – especially in the field of Data Science and AI. Your activities include, among others:

• Direct entry into a specific, ongoing AI‑ and Data‑Science‑project with measurable added value for our clients
• Development and further development of Data‑Science and Machine‑Learning solutions with Python (e.g., using pandas, scikit‑learn as well as modern LLM‑frameworks)
• Close collaboration side by side with our Lead Data Scientist to specifically expand our service offering in Risk Consulting
• Participation in topics such as NLP, document processing, rule-based systems and – depending on the project – MLOps‑issues
• Active collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders as well as professional communication at the project level
• Involvement in initiatives to further develop our services and innovative use cases in Switzerland

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated personality with drive who wants to grow professionally and take on responsibility. Ideally, you bring the following for this role:

• Completed studies (e.g., business informatics, computer science, mathematics, or a comparable field)
• Initial professional experience (up to approx. 2 years) in implementing Data‑Science or ML projects
• Very good Python skills and interest in modern AI technologies
• Experience with MLOps platforms (e.g., MLflow, Domino Data Lab, etc.) is an advantage
• Strong team and communication skills as well as confident appearance in client contact
• High willingness to learn and motivation to further develop your career in an innovative and fast-growing environment
• Fluent German and English skills, French is a plus
