The Chair of Prof. Beatrix Eugster, at the Department of Economics at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in empirical labour, education, or health economics. The appointment is for 4 years and an employment level of 80%.
The position
The successful candidate will collaborate with Beatrix Eugster in joint research projects and conduct his or her own independent research. Furthermore, the candidate will be expected to provide some teaching support and assist in the supervision of PhD students.
Your profile
The successful candidate will have a strong background in applied econometrics (causal inference). Ideally, the candidate is interested in questions concerning child or adult health and their intersection with education and labor economics.
The candidate should be proficient in R and/or STATA. To qualify for the position, candidates must have completed their PhD by the time of starting the position.
