About the job
The Ingenbohl Monastery, headquarters of an international community of sisters, is a place of encounter and togetherness as well as reflection. The monastery's cleaning team takes care daily with great commitment of order, cleanliness and hygiene of the monastery's own buildings, so that the 210 nuns, residents as well as guests and staff feel comfortable in our premises. The cleaning team is looking immediately or by arrangement for a responsible, independent and motivated person as:
Cleaning Staff Monastery 80-100%
Together with a 20-member team, you ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the monastery's own premises, set up seminar rooms and partly take responsibility for the breakfast service for our sisters and residents.
Tasks
- Professional cleaning of private and common rooms
- Correct execution of visual, maintenance and deep cleaning
- Ensuring smooth running of the breakfast service
- Careful handling of machines, equipment and resources
- Ensuring safety and hygiene regulations
Expectations
- Completed basic training as a hotel and housekeeping specialist EFZ or an equivalent qualification or several years of experience in cleaning
- Enjoyment of working with people and teamwork
- Service-oriented, competent and well-groomed appearance
- Good German skills and appropriate communication
- Flexible working hours and willingness to work varying shifts
- Willingness to work weekend shifts (Saturday / Sunday)
