About the job
Electrical Project Manager with Potential to Become Deputy Site Manager (m/f, 80-100%)
- Work location: Bern / Solothurn region
Lead demanding electrical projects and, if desired, develop purposefully into a leadership position. Here, responsibility, scope for action, and a long-term perspective come together.
Our client is a larger, renowned electrical installation company with several locations in the Central Plateau. Due to very good business performance and positive prospects, the company wishes to strengthen its personnel further. In this versatile role, you will lead interesting larger electrical projects, mainly in commercial and industrial sectors as well as occasionally in residential construction. You are responsible for quality, deadlines, and costs and coordinate customers, project teams, and other stakeholders. If you wish to develop further, there is the possibility to gradually take on additional leadership responsibilities and later work as a deputy site manager. This development is an option and not a prerequisite for the role.
Do you already lead demanding electrical projects in commercial or industrial sectors?
Would you like to gradually take on additional leadership tasks if interested?
Are you looking for a long-term perspective with scope for action and clear development opportunities?
Then I look forward to hearing from you at 079 250 94 99
Your new role
- You lead larger electrical projects mainly in commercial and industrial sectors as well as occasionally in residential construction
- You define project goals together with customers, establish the project organisation, and manage implementation from project planning to completion
- You coordinate internal staff, external partners, and suppliers and ensure quality, deadlines, costs, and clear project communication
- You prepare quotations, monitor project progress, and ensure complete technical documentation
- You lead and develop the project team, support technical training, and can gradually take on additional tasks in site management if interested
What distinguishes you
- You have training as an electrical installer with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) and further training as an electrical project manager or a comparable qualification
- You bring practical experience in managing demanding electrical projects, ideally in commercial or industrial sectors
- You work independently, in a structured and cost-conscious manner, and keep deadlines, quality, and finances in view even with multiple projects
- You present yourself to customers and employees in a friendly, reliable, and solution-oriented manner and communicate clearly
- You wish to develop professionally and personally; interest in a future leadership role is welcome but not a prerequisite
Our attractive offer
- You benefit from flexible working hours and can largely organise your working time independently within company guidelines
- You benefit from an attractive salary package with a realistically achievable bonus. No managerial working time regulations apply. Your entire working time is fully recorded and compensated.
- You benefit from a very good pension fund solution with a 60/40 contribution split as well as at least 25 days of holiday. A company car with private use, discounted Reka checks, company discounts, and other attractive benefits are available to you
- You receive targeted opportunities for further training and personal development. If interested, there is a concrete prospect of developing into a deputy site manager; however, this is not a prerequisite
