About the job
For our successful client, we are looking for a conscientious
Polymechanic as Maintenance Mechanic
Activities
- You organise and carry out maintenance and repair work on machines, systems and technical equipment at the locations Zurich and St. Gallen.
- You troubleshoot and independently perform unplanned repairs during ongoing production operations.
- You support machine overhauls at our international production sites in Austria and Hungary (approx. 3 assignments of 2 weeks per year).
- You work conventionally on lathes, milling, drilling and grinding machines and undertake various welding and manual tasks.
- You plan, coordinate and carry out preventive maintenance measures.
- You procure spare parts, manufacture some yourself and manage the spare parts warehouse.
- You actively contribute your technical know-how to projects and support their implementation.
Requirements
- Completed training as a machine or polymechanic.
- Sound knowledge in assembly technology, pneumatics and conventional manufacturing.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment.
- Fluent German skills, both spoken and written.
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style.
- High resilience, flexibility and enjoyment of varied tasks.
- Willingness to undertake occasional assignments abroad.
