Your tasks

• You manage and lead the Department's strategic projects
• You support and advise the Head of Department on strategic and innovation matters
• You ensure strategic monitoring of legislative and economic developments
• You support and advise the decisions of the permanent delegation at Sion airport
• You oversee the development of the innovation park at the Energypolis Campus
• You represent the State of Valais on the Board of Directors of Energypolis SA
• You chair the engagement committee of the ScaleTec programme of The Ark Foundation
• You are the privileged contact for the Post Office within the State
• You collaborate with other cantonal services, federal authorities and external partners

Your profile

• University degree in economics (master's level) or other equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in managing complex projects
• In-depth knowledge of the Valais economy
• Excellent knowledge of the functioning of cantonal public institutions
• Developed analytical and synthesis skills
• Political and strategic sense
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to act promptly and make decisions
• Proactive and persuasive
• Proven ability to work in a network, collaborate and assume a leadership role
• Native French or German speaker with very good knowledge (oral and written) of the second official language; knowledge of English would be an asset
