Your Role

As a Civil Engineer in Geotechnics, you are responsible for the technical expertise, planning and realisation of demanding civil engineering projects in Switzerland. You support the head of the unit in strategic technical decisions and accompany the technical execution manager in the realisation of complex projects.

Your Main Tasks

• Technical Project Planning: Independent processing and dimensioning of contractor variants for excavations, foundations, underpinning and water retention
• Work Preparation & Calculation: Development of technical solutions and execution methods to support the calculation phase
• Quality & Standards: Ensuring compliance with SIA standards, SUVA requirements and internal standards as well as monitoring the quality of calculations and plans
• Innovation: Promotion of new technologies (e.g. BIM), process and equipment optimisation
• Representation: Representing the company to clients, planners, geologists and authorities as well as actively maintaining customer contacts

Your Profile

• Engineer in Civil Engineering or Geotechnics (FH, ETH or equivalent)
• Solid experience (2+ years desirable) in planning and realising demanding civil engineering projects in Switzerland
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss construction practice and relevant SIA standards
• Natural leadership qualities, strong communication skills and entrepreneurial, solution-oriented thinking
• Proficiency in specialised software (DC software, Plaxis, Cubus, Autocad), knowledge of SAP and BIM is an advantage
• German and French spoken and written, English skills are an advantage
