About the job
Akzent is the central specialist organization for addiction issues in Central Switzerland. We employ around 40 staff and operate in a dynamic environment between healthcare, social policy, and public education. The Prevention department supports key persons in implementing addiction prevention and early intervention in their environment. The Addiction Therapy department offers 25 inpatient therapy places for adults with addiction problems.
We are looking for a Co-Managing Director (75%) starting July 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your role In the role of Co-Managing Director and Head of Prevention, you are responsible for:
- Strategic and financial overall responsibility including budget, controlling, and resource planning together with the existing Co-Managing Director
- Leadership of the Prevention and Central Services departments and ensuring a modern leadership culture
- Organizational development with a focus on impact, quality, and innovation
- Stakeholder management towards politics, authorities, partner institutions, and media
- Initiating new offerings, aligned with trends and societal developments
- Collaboration with the association's board
Your profile You bring experience in leading complex organizations and navigate confidently in the tension between expertise, politics, and management. This includes:
- University degree in social work, psychology, public health, or comparable qualification, ideally with knowledge in addiction prevention
- Business management know-how
- Several years of leadership experience, ideally in healthcare or social services
- Strong strategic competence and experience in project management and organizational development
- Confident appearance in political and public contexts
- Enjoyment of shared leadership and collaborative decision-making processes
- High communication and analytical skills
