Trainee Hotel Communication Specialist EFZ (m/f/d)
In this versatile training, you will learn about the processes and structures of our hotel operations and gain insights into the cultural and religious backgrounds of the guests and how to optimally meet their needs.
You can expect the following exciting training areas:
- Reception tasks such as check-in, check-out, guest care in three languages (D/E/F) from greeting to farewell, reservation processing, administrative tasks, and handling complaints
- Service for half-board, à la carte, and banquet guests, breakfast preparation, mise en place, guest care and advice in choosing food and beverage options, provision of seminar and banquet facilities
- Assistance in the kitchen with the preparation of the menu for hotel and restaurant guests, taking into account food allergies and intolerances as well as applicable hygiene regulations
- Cleaning and preparing hotel rooms and guest areas, correct use of cleaning agents and machines, room design and decoration, preservation of value and inventory management
- Consultation and support for seminar and banquet guests, processing reservations from quotation to execution of seminar events
- Participation in the areas of marketing, accounting, and human resources
You bring
- Successful completion of secondary school level A
- Good knowledge of German, English, and French; a completed language stay is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Enthusiasm for multilingual communication with guests
- Enjoyment of independent work as well as teamwork
- Good comprehension skills and motivation to learn new things
- Warm, reliable, and service-oriented personality
