Werke am Zürichsee AG is involved in several district heating projects that will be developed in Zollikon over the coming years.
Those who rely on natural gas are already doing a lot of good for the environment. Those who enrich their natural gas with biogas
or even replace it entirely with biogas are acting very environmentally consciously. Because
biogas has all the positive properties of natural gas, but is additionally CO2-neutral.
Werke am Zürichsee AG focuses on ecological products and therefore actively promotes
biogas from the region, which we obtain through Energie 360° AG. Biogas
is produced by the fermentation of biomass. This raw gas is upgraded to natural gas quality
and fed into the natural gas network. Biogas is CO2-neutral and renewable. It
is produced exclusively from natural waste materials or sewage gas.
We offer three different options for obtaining biogas. The natural gas price of the currently valid price plan plus a corresponding surcharge for
