About the job
For our client in Oftringen (Aargau), we are looking for a numbers-savvy clerk who independently manages finance and accounting and gladly takes on responsibility. In this versatile role, you will combine day-to-day operations with closing tasks, reporting, and VAT returns. You can expect a broad range of duties with a lot of personal responsibility and a long-term perspective.
Tasks
- Independent
management of ongoing financial accounting including general ledger and
subsidiary ledgers with common software - Assistance with
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Preparation of
financial key figures, reports, and internal evaluations for management - Handling of
payment transactions as well as processing of expenses and credit card receipts - Monitoring
of outstanding receivables and handling of dunning procedures - Maintenance of
financially relevant master data - Preparation of
VAT returns for various accounting areas
Profile
- Completed
commercial basic training with a federal certificate (EFZ) - Further training in
finance and accounting is an advantage - 3-5 years of professional experience
in financial accounting and dunning procedures is mandatory - Knowledge in
preparing VAT returns for various accounting areas is an advantage - Fluent in German and Swiss German, with additional language skills advantageous (F/E/I)
- Confident handling
of Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills are an advantage) and ideally experience with a common ERP solution
such as SAP, Abacus, Sage, Dynamics,... - Strong
numerical understanding as well as precise and reliable working style - Independent,
proactive and resilient team player with interconnected thinking ability
