About the job
To complement our "Fugu" daycare team in Zurich Höngg, we are looking for an intern to start immediately or by arrangement.
"Fugu" daycares are a private operation aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our daycare is located in the Höngg district of the city of Zurich. We have 380 m2 of bright, modern premises and a 50 m2 large terrace available. Large and beautiful playgrounds are located nearby. Due to the central location, our daycare is easily accessible by public transport. Our cook provides delicious and healthy meals daily for the children and all staff. The daycare is organised into 4 groups. Opening hours are from 7:15 am to 6:15 pm.
How brave are you? Working with children is full of life and you will certainly never be bored. As an intern, you will gain your first experiences in the professional world. We accompany you on your path with care and empathy and support you with our expertise. You will learn the basics of childcare and will be allowed to take on increasing responsibility. It is important to us that your backpack is full of knowledge and experience by the end of the internship year. This way, you will feel ready to start training as a childcare professional.
TASKS
• Collaborate in the meaningful and appropriate organisation of daily routines
• Support the group leader in managing the children’s group according to the educational principles of the "Fugu" daycares
• Gather initial professional experience under guidance
• Co-organise celebrations, festivals, and events
REQUIREMENTS
• Completed compulsory schooling
• Joy and interest in working with children and as part of a team
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Reliable and resilient
• Self-reflection and willingness to develop further
• Good manners
