Certified Nurse

The Abdominal Centre at Inselspital is a unique, multidisciplinary facility for patients with stomach, intestinal, and liver diseases. The specialist departments of visceral surgery, gastroenterology, and hepatology, as well as stoma and wound care, jointly provide their outpatient services.

What to expect

• You care for and monitor our patients and administer medication
• You are responsible for administrative and organisational tasks, performance recording, as well as the preparation and follow-up of consultations
• You ensure the conduct of consultations in collaboration with the medical service
• You perform dressing changes and blood draws as well as diagnostic tests and insert peripheral venous access
• You instruct patients in the safe administration of medication or for diagnostic tests at home

What you bring

• You are trained as a certified nurse and ideally already have professional experience
• You appreciate working with doctors from various specialities and other services
• A pleasant and personal approach to our patients is natural and important to you
• You are a dynamic personality who likes to contribute and values a lively operation in an innovative environment
• You have very good knowledge of German, oral skills in French/English, and up-to-date PC skills
