Tasks you will enjoy
- Planning and control of production including personnel, material, machinery and warehouse planning for semi-finished and finished products.
- Ensuring timely and demand-oriented manufacturing according to sales and trade orders.
- Driving optimisation measures and continuous improvement processes as well as taking over the deputy production management in the absence of the production manager.
- Responsibility for compliance with quality standards, hygiene guidelines, occupational safety requirements and legal regulations.
- Promoting a safe working environment through consistent implementation of safety measures and accident prevention.
- Leading, motivating and developing the production team as well as strengthening a successful team culture.
- Organising personnel deployment, shift and break planning as well as monitoring absences.
- Monitoring production processes and equipment, recognising and reporting malfunctions and actively supporting day-to-day operations.
- Responsibility for order, organisation and economical inventory management of production warehouses as well as preparation of key figures and inventory support.
Requirements you bring
- Completed training in the food sector, as a baker, confectioner or in a comparable production environment
- Several years of professional experience in production, ideally in the food industry
- Initial leadership experience and enjoyment in supporting and developing employees
- Experience in production, personnel and resource planning
- Good knowledge of hygiene, quality and safety regulations
- Technical understanding and interest in production equipment and processes
- Structured, organised and solution-oriented working style
- Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP or production planning systems
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as a responsible hands-on mentality
