Senior .NET Architect

About the job

• Responsibility for solution architecture in customer projects, from requirements clarification to implementation
• Developing architectural concepts and target architectures
• Developing migration and modernisation strategies for existing system landscapes
• Conducting architecture assessments and reviews
• Hands-on involvement: proofs of concept, implementation of critical components and code reviews
• Technical leadership of development teams, acting as Tech Lead if required
• Coordination with business units and stakeholders on the customer side
• Coaching and mentoring development teams and junior colleagues
• Contributing to concepts, effort estimations and proposals

• Several years of experience (ideally 8+ years) in software development and architecture
• Hands-on mentality: you stay close to the code and are not afraid of PoCs or pull requests
• Confident appearance in customer contact and enjoyment of coaching
• University degree in computer science or comparable education
• Fluent German and good English, both written and spoken

• Solid knowledge of C# and .NET
• Experience with cloud architectures, preferably Microsoft Azure (e.g. App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, AKS)

• Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing and Event-Driven Architecture
• Onion/Hexagonal Architecture and Clean Architecture
• Modelling and workshops with domain experts, e.g. using Event Storming or Domain Storytelling
• Architecture documentation, e.g. with arc42

• Experience with Java/Spring, API design (OpenAPI) or frontend technologies (Angular, React, Vue.js)
• Knowledge of cloud governance and security
• Certifications, e.g. Azure, iSAQB or TOGAF
• Initial experience with GenAI platforms and AI services
